In this week's restaurant reviews, Peter M. Gianotti says that Toscanini in Port Washington stays "in tune with Italian bascis,'' and gives it a one-star rating.
In her Cheap Eats review, Joan Reminick says "oui'' to Chat Noir in Rockville Centre and raves over an "incomparable orange French toast.'' She gives the restaurant two-and-a-half stars.
