The first plans for the East End summer restaurant scene have arrived: The Anchor in Sag Harbor.
This seafood-centered eatery-to-be is slated to open in May, with a view of the Mill Creek Marina, at the former site of Oasis.
Co-owners are David Loewenberg and executive chef Sam McCleland. They also co-own The Beacon, a Sag Harbor mainstay. Loewenberg also is co-owner with Kirk Basnight of little/red and red/bar brasserie in Southampton; and with Michael Nolan of Fresno in East Hampton.
The Anchor is expected to offer lobster, lobster rolls, shellfish platters and fish-of-the-day, plus steaks and chops.
The Anchor, 3253 Noyac Rd., Sag Harbor. No phone yet.
