(THIS RESTAURANT HAS CLOSED) Ocean Avenue Steakhouse enters the carnivore competition with an easygoing approach, moderate prices and friendly service. It's also a pretty eclectic place. You can come here for Buffalo-style chicken wings or sashimi-grade tuna, spinach-and-artichoke dip or a jumbo lump crabmeat cocktail. They also offer steamers, mussels finished with white wine and herbs, baked clams oreganata, and fried calamari. Sandwiches include a New York strip steak production, Maryland crab cake, shrimp-Caesar salad wrap, and a Black Angus sirloin hamburger platter. Ocean Avenue's steaks are porterhouse, rib-eye, sirloin, filet mignon, skirt steak, and chopped steak. The rivals are rack of lamb, roast duckling, lemon-pepper chicken and veal, either Marsala, Francaise or piccata.
