Olympic dining finale

Before they put out the flame at the London Olympics, give the show one more toast.

I've enjoyed the XXX Olympiad. The Beijing spectacle was a bit too orchestrated, overplayed and image-driven for me. The London festivities may not have been as precisely calibrated, but there did seem to be more smiles.

So, have a brew at Canterbury Ales in Huntington, maybe with a shepherd's pie or a prime rib.  Dive into the fish-and-chips at Cedar Creek American Bar and Grill in Glen Cove. Try bangers-and-mash at First and South in Greenport.

And, if you can find a good feijoada anywhere, let me know. We can get a head start on the next party in Rio.
