The ever-changing Great Neck dining scene is down one Italian restaurant, up one Persian place.
Cafe Classico, an Italian fixture for more than 20 years, is now closed. Recalled from earlier days: a refreshing orange and arugula salad, a fine version of clams Posillipo.
New to Great Neck is Bijan, a Persian restaurant serving Glatt kosher meat. It takes over the site once occupied by Trobiano's. According to manager David Shay, its website, bijancatering.com, will go live in a few days.
