Open: Bangkok Station, Great Neck

Bangkok Station, sibling of Thai Station in Merrick and East Rockaway, has been dishing up mango duck and Panang beef curry for the past month about a block away from the LIRR station in Great Neck.
At lunch, recently, I took great pleasure in an adroitly spiced bowl of tom kha gai, chicken coconut soup. A massamum curry made with chicken, potatoes and peanuts, was nuanced and fragrant. And while the kuawteo pad gai (chicken with fresh noodles) wasn’t the least bit fiery — despite being asterisked with a chili pepper — it was still loaded with flavor.
