Open: Fishery Grill in Glen Head

Owner Charlie Lunenfeld characterized the Gold Coast location, which opened on Sept. 23, as “a tad more upscale, from the design to the menu.” The menu blends straight-ahead standards — raw bar, oysters Rockefeller, grilled fish, lobsters — with some more fusion-y creations such as salmon seviche and seared ginger-teriyaki tuna. Prices are reasonable, with most main courses hovering in the low $20s.
Chef Steve Demetriou, Lunenfeld said, used to cook at Canterbury Ales and Fiddleheads in Oyster Bay.
