Thai, Japanese and Chinese cuisine come together at Kiku, a new eatery on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington.

The modestly priced spot offers Taiwanese specialities, including spicy marinated smelts and dried radish omelet, as well as lo mein and mee fun dishes. You'll find plenty of sushi rolls, traditional sushi, tempuras and teriyakis, too. But most of the menu is devoted to Thai fare, covering familiar territory: spring and summer rolls, coconut chicken soup, green papaya salad, pad Thai and plenty of seafood. Vegetarians are offered a respectable assortment of dishes.

Lunch specials are $6.95 to $8. Main courses are less than $14.

Kiku is open seven days, starting at 11 a.m. Major credit cards accepted. The restaurant is at 340A W. Jericho Tpke., Huntington; 631-673-7377/78.
