Lamed Vav, a glatt kosher continental restaurant, has opened in Great Neck opposite the Long Island Railroad station.

It's under the supervision of Vaad of Queens, and is the second glatt kosher restaurant on Long Island from owner Alex Levine, who also operates Brasserie HaLevi in Cedarhurst. Levine is expected to reopen Levine's Patisserie on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck, too.

Lamed Vav, a large and bright spot with polished dark wood and a sunny hue, offers dishes that include a quinoa-and-tofu salad, pasta primavera, grilled king salmon, chicken cassoulet, rib-eye steak and tuna tartare.

Tuna tartare also is available at Brasserie HaLevi, which, in addition, has dishes such as  Sriracha-marinated fried chicken and sesame seed-crusted tuna.

Lamed Vav, 20 S. Station Rd., Great Neck; 516-482-3644.

Brasserie HaLevi, 600 Central Ave., Cedarhurst; 516-218-2190.
