Moving into the waterside space exited by Bostwick's is The Boathouse Restaurant & Lounge.

The new, nautical-themed restaurant comes from Michael Gluckman, whose Hamptonians have included The Lodge Bar & Grill and Bamboo Sushi Lounge. After 11 p.m., The Boathouse becomes a lounge with DJs.

Menu highlights include tuna tartare with mango, beef carpaccio, oysters Rockefeller, miso black cod, prime rib and Maine lobsters.

Chefs at the new eatery: veteran Robert Gurvich and Peter Thomas.

Bostwick's has relocated to 277 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton; 631-324-1111. It's called Bostwick's Chowder House.

The Boathouse is at 39 Gann Rd., East Hampton; 631-329-3663.

The eatery is open for dinner from 5 p.m.; for lunch, from 11:30 a.m.
