This German-American restaurant with an outdoor area is the closest Long Island gets to a traditional German beer garden, with dozens of tables spread across a concrete picnic area. The setup includes an outdoor bar, bratwurst pit, dance floor and band shell where cover bands provide the musical accompaniment.
Beers include six German draughts ($3.50-$8) including golden-hued HofbräuMunich Lager and Warsteiner Premium Dunkel, a dark beer.
Food includes Bratwurst on a bun, Bavarian pretzels, leberkäse (a kind of German meatloaf) with rye bread, French fries, Buffalo wings.
The venue also hosts weddings and events. Capacity is 700 people.
