Point Lookout find: Fab frittata

When in Point Lookout, I’d make a point of seeking out Jo Jo Apples. It was there, quite recently, that I had one amazing breakfast dish.
The spicy corn frittata was a meltingly delectable omelet-pancake involving eggs, corn, tomatoes, scallions, chopped jalapeño peppers, Pepperjack cheese and fresh cilantro. Loved how the sweetness of the corn and tomatoes played against the spicy jalapenos, how the cilantro added that certain Southwestern zing. Accompanying home fries were also a treat.
