<a href="http://long-island.newsday.com/restaurants/feed-me-1.812004/souper-bowl-pre-game-in-port-washington-1.3476511" target="_blank">Souper Bowl V</a>, the fifth annual contest of Port Washington’s best soups, was played on Saturday and the Judges’ Choice award went to Innuendo for its logmahn soup, described on the restaurant's menu as “a Mediterranean masterpiece of aromatic delight that will leave you breathless. Sauteed peppers, onions, tomatoes, celery, carrots, garlic, and long beans are combined with hearty chunks of beef and diced potatoes, all covered in a rich beef broth. Served with homemade noodles.” 
 The other soups didn’t stand a chance! 
 The Peoples’ Choice award went to the potato-leek soup from the Amsterdam at Harborside, a life-care residential community. Sullivan’s Quay got the silver from both the judges and the people for its mulligatawny.
