Port Washington: Wings for the big game

6) The O-line is as good as any in pro football

Wings Plus is anticipating a lot of orders for this Sunday’s AFC championship game, so the wing specialist is jettisoning its regular menu in favor of a lean, mean, Jets-supporting machine.
Fans too busy or distracted to cook can avail themselves of a bucket of 30 wings (mild, medium, atomic, BBQ, honey BBQ or teriyaki) for $25.99. Eight pieces of fried chicken are $12.99; a rack of baby back ribs is $16; chicken fingers (12) are $15.99 and Buffalo or popcorn shrimp (30) are $13.99. Click here for sides (including the very good potato salad) and appetizers.
Wings Plus encourages you to order early, offers curbside pickup and will deliver orders over $60.
The store is at 16 Haven Ave., Port Washington, 516-767-7967.
