In autumn, it seems, Long Islanders' thoughts turn to dining deals. So here are two more localities with restaurant weeks in the works.

Smithtown Restaurant Week starts Sunday and runs through the following Sunday,  Oct. 20. During that time, a three-course dinner runs $27.95 a person at more than 20 area restaurants. Participants include Aji 53 in Smithtown, Five Five. 2 in St. James and Tate’s Restaurant in Nesconset. For the full list, go to smithtownchamber.com/upcoming.php.

In Long Beach, Restaurant Week — actually two weeks — kicks off Friday and finishes Oct. 27. A three-course meal at most participating restaurants runs $19.95 a person. Participants include Lola’s Kitchen & Wine Bar in Long Beach, Fisherman’s Catch in Point Lookout and Shogun Japanese Steak House in Island Park. For the entire list, as well as the individual deals, go to thelongbeachchamber.com and click on Restaurant Week.
