Finding a restaurant for a party requires perseverance. You're looking for a comfortable space to suit the event, with food that's tasty enough to keep everyone there. Here are three choices.

This casual, efficient eatery has venues both private and public for larger groups. Very good service. Recommended dishes: stuffed mushrooms, stuffed artichoke, fresh mozzarella with peppers and asparagus, shrimp marinara, pasta Amatriciana or Bolognese, chicken scarpariello.

Four Food Studio & Cocktail Salon has enough niches for parties large and small. It's a good-looking spot too. Recommended: flatbreads, spicy sambal chicken lollipops, smoked brisket tacos, bacon cheeseburger, citrus-pepper crusted tuna, BLT sliders, steak frites, prosciutto-wrapped meatloaf.

Iavarone, a name associated with excellent specialty food shops and catering, operates this establishment the same way. Recommended: soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, panini, pizzettes, dishes such as sausage and broccoli rabe, eggplant Parmigiana, chicken scarpariello and all pastas.
