Peter Gianotti writes in today's Newsday that Wild Honey on Main sweetens dining in downtown Port Washington, offering up such tantalizing dishes as a chile-and-pork tostada, a soulful smoked-and-skewered kielbasa, and fried calamari -- in this case boosted with Thai-seasoned barbecue sauce and pickled Asian vegetables.

Newsday critic Joan Reminick touts adventure in Centereach with the opening of Manila's BBQ Stop. Reminick praises the smoky-sweet skewered pork and chicken, the fried lumpia and a winning pork bun, among other dishes.
