Riverhead: "Chef's table" dinner at Stonewalls

Stonewalls, the fine restaurant at the Woods at Cherry Creek golf course in Riverhead, will offer a "chef's table" dinner on Thursday, July 29.

Chef Guy Peuch will choose the courses and the wines to go with them at this event. The cash-only cost is $45 per person. No credit cards accepted.

Peuch is known for his excellent crab cakes; and the menus at the restaurant include French, Continental and American dishes, among them, duck a l'orange, steak au poivre, and pasta "Moroccan" with lamb sausage and goat cheese.

Reservations are necessary. A palate-teaser and a glass of wine will be served at 6:30 p.m. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
