Rowdy Hall, East Hampton's health-fare dinner

Rowdy Hall, East Hampton's pub-bistro mainstay, hosts a dinner on May 10 emphasizing healthful dining.

Dubbed "conscious cuisine," the gathering will include a discussion with nutritionist Stefanie Sacks, host of the public-access TV show  "Chew on This!"

Cost: $65 per person, plus tax and tip. Reservations recommended. The event will begin at 6 p.m.

The three-course dinner by executive chef Joseph Realmuto and chef de cuisine Ed Lightcap will include wine pairings.

Among the dishes: grilled asparagus,chopped vegetable salad, sea scallops with Israeli couscous and basil-infused olive oil, chicken with local honey-glazed carrots, grilled artichoke with spring vegetable-quinoa salad, and dark chocolate walnut tart with local strawberries.
