RUB BBQ in E. Meadow becomes Kansas City Smokehouse

It's been more than a month since the marriage ended between RUB BBQ in Manhattan and its former East Meadow franchise, under the Singh Hospitality Group. Now, the Long Island spot has changed its name from RUB BBQ to Kansas City Smokehouse. Executive chef Dave Salony said that a temporary vinyl sign now hangs outside.

Whether the new name sticks remains to be seen, since many issues are still in the courts.
