The savory sweet everything bagel doughnut is everything. A brioche number at the new Grindstone Coffee and Donuts in Sag Harbor is slathered with cream cheese glaze, covered with poppy and sesame seeds, garlic and salt. It’s one of the unusual daily offerings in a handful of flavors that sell out daily.

The shop opened in early August to much fanfare, with owner Kyle Shanahan, stepson to celebrity chef Michael Symon of ABC’s “The Chew,” lending the place cred.

The result has been bonkers, with Grindstone selling over 1,300 doughnuts a day at $2.75 a piece — in record time on weekends. Other novel flavors include strawberry buttermilk, Nutella s’more, peanut butter banana, cinnamon sugar, Grindstone glaze and chai-spiced powdered sugar.

Even coffee is selling out. Sourced from super boutique San Francisco-based Four Barrel Coffee, Grindstone is having to FedEx beans every couple of days.

“They’re busier than we expected,” said New York rep Mike Squires of Long Island’s first outpost selling the company’s beans.

While it’s too busy of a shop to do pour-overs, he recommends the Nicaragua Anibal Maragogype. “But not for much longer,” he said. “ I’d order that before it’s gone. It’s a micro lot and a pretty special coffee, for sure.”
