Sancho’s Cantina & Grill in Massapequa Park, under the same ownership as the nearby  Mary’s Pizza and Adam’s Rib, opened a few months ago with a Tex-Mex menu and 12 flat screen TVs, for the sports-minded. The night I passed by, the French windows in the front were open to the street and a few people were dining at sidewalk tables.

On the menu: beef empanadas ($6.95), a Quixote cheese quesadilla ($6.95), wings of all kinds ($7.50 for 10 to $32.95 for 50), tacos al pastor, either hard corn or soft flour ($7.95), chipotle chicken burritos ($7.95), fajitas ($8.95-$12.95) and burgers ($8.95).

Sancho’s Cantina & Grill is at 1029 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, 516-308-4490.
