Saturday: LI Chowder Contest, Oakdale

Right about now, you may be dreaming about a steaming bowl of chowder.  Hold that thought, since, this Saturday, Feb. 5, you can sample what may be the best Long Island has to offer at the Snapper Inn’s 12th annual LI Chowder Contest, to be held from noon to 2 p.m.

While the public is welcome to sample all the chowders, a donation to the Great South Bay Conservancy is also appreciated.
