This September, as in Septembers past, the spirit of Little Italy’s San Gennaro Festival will inform the menu and the vibe of Cafe Joelle in Sayville. The restaurant’s annual tribute will run Thursday, Sept. 15, to Sunday, Sept. 25.

You know the drill: red-checkered cloths, Italian music and a menu of specials that includes such classic Italian favorites as rice balls ($9.95), fried calamari ($8.50), veal Parmigiana with linguine ($23.95), eggplant rollatini ($17.95) and five-cheese ravioli carbonara ($16.95).

Among wine specials: Chianti ($7 a glass, $23 a bottle) and pinot grigio ($7.50 a glass, $26 a bottle).

The restaurant’s regular menu  will also be available.

Cafe Joelle is at 25 Main St., Sayville, 631-589-4600.
