Sertinos Cafe, Smithtown: Closed

Sertinos Cafe in Smithtown, the first and only Long Island branch of a national chain, has closed.

The place, which served breakfast, sandwiches, panini, soups, salads, pastries and coffee drinks, occupied the former home of Sizzler on Jericho Turnpike. It lasted a little more than a year.

What will move into that space next remains to be seen.
