Shark Week at Reel in East Rockaway

In case you didn’t know, Discovery Channel is in the midst of its annual Shark Week, when its programming features shows like “Jaws Strikes Back," "Monster Hammerhead” and “Sharkageddon.”
Shark Week has also been declared at Reel in East Rockaway. Now until Tuesday, chef Adam Goldgell is featuring all kinds of shark-based specials using either thresher or mako shark. There's a shark bites appetizer ($9), a blackened shark steak ($22) and even an Asian shark stew ($22). A Sharknado cocktail ($10) is made with Bacardi Mango Fusion rum, blue Curacao, pineapple juice and peach puree. But no shark.
