Snapper Inn
Owned and operated by the Remmer family since 1929, the Snapper Inn sits on the banks of the Connetquot River. The elegant eatery offers a wide variety of entrees, such as the peppercorn crusted tuna with wasabi and pickled ginger for $24, or the roasted Long Island duckling with lingonberry sauce and saffron couscous for $23.75. Snow crabs, stuffed shrimp and a family-recipe sauerbraten are also popular. The daily fish board reflects the fresh fish that arrives each day. Lunches tend toward salads and sandwiches, and run under $15. The restaurant has a full bar.
