Sniffing out truffles in NHP

Catch them while you can: White truffles from Alba are being served at Fratelli Iavarone Cafe in New Hyde Park. For the next two weeks, you can order them freshly shaved over tagliarini or risotto at $35 a half portion, $65 a full serving.
You can also attend a wine and truffle dinner this Tuesday night. The cost is $100, including tax and tip.
