The new La Parrilla features the fare of more than one Spanish-speaking nation in the Port Jefferson space that, for years, housed Costa d’Espana. Owner Vin Grillo said he remodeled both the interior and the menu.

Chef Juan Alvarado, who hails from El Salvador, formerly cooked at Pollo Rico Latin Bistro in Centereach. His multicultural repertoire features a tapas roster with such items as pimenton relleno, or stuffed pepper ($8.95), empanadas ($9.95) as well as such items as ensalata de mariscos, or seafood salad ($12.95), paella a la Valenciana ($28.95) and beef, chicken or vegetable burritos ($12.95).

A three-course prix-fixe dinner, at $28.95, runs Monday to Wednesday all night and comes with a glass of wine.

La Parrilla is at 9 Traders Cove, Port Jefferson, 631-509-4848, laparrillaportjeff.com
