Surfside Inn
Surfside Inn, a casual and friendly spot, is across the street from the ocean. The white-washed deck offers a fine view.
This Victorian-style building houses an establishment that's very popular during the summer. The food is straightforward American fare, emphasis on seafood.
You'll do well with a shrimp cocktail and a steamed lobster. Baked clams are pretty bready, and the New England clam chowder only routine. They do send out a hefty, juicy prime rib with horseradish sauce, and a respectable roasted chicken. Ice cream is the best dessert.
