The former 516 American Kitchen and Bar in Syosset has new owners, a new chef, and a slightly different name. Now called Americana 516 Kitchen & Bar, its kitchen is commanded by executive chef Trevor McGrath, whom some might remember as a finalist on Fox’s "Hell’s Kitchen" in 2009.
On McGrath’s classic American dinner menu: an appetizer of mini Reuben sandwiches ($10), an entree of Southern fried chicken ($18), and truffled mac and cheese ($15).
