A new Italian restaurant is slated to open in about five weeks just south of the railroad station in Syosset.
Belle Notte North is the offspring of Bella Notte on East Merrick Road in Bellmore. The north shore eatery takes over the address most recently occupied by Luna Rossa at 98 Jackson Ave.
Expect the second Belle Notte to follow the traditional path of the original, where menu highlights include chicken for two with sausage, potatoes and peppers; eggplant Parmigiana; and linguine with shellfish.
