Another pan-Asian restaurant with a sushi bar joins the ranks in Garden City. Taku opened last month in the former home of Omoto, now fully renovated.
Taku's menu looks both comprehensive and moderate in price. A once-over reveals tuna tataki ($7.95), a yellowtail black dragon roll featuring spicy yellowtail jalapeño with black roe ($11.95), crispy prawns with XO sauce ($17.95) and Thai lemongrass chicken ($10.95).
