The cupcake boom continues. Latest entry:  The Cupcake Corner in Garden City.

Owner John Graney says the newcomer offers coffees and teas,  hot cocoa and ice cream and cake, wraps at lunch and a weekend brunch. And, of course, there are cupcakes made on the premises.

The brunch items include quiche, pancakes, waffles and croissants, plus the regulars. Gluten-free choices, too; sugar-free, to come. The seasonal cupcakes: gingerbread spice, pumpkin, chocolate-peppermint. The flavors also go to vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, carrot cake, chocolate-peanut butter, cafe mocha and rainbow cookie.

The Cupcake Corner is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. It's situated at 61 New Hyde Park Rd.; 516-328-2253 (that's C-A-K-E) and 347-901-0750.
