A kid-friendly, dog-friendly outdoor event in Hampton Bays, Wednesday is food-truck night at The Inn Spot on the Bay, when chefs/partners Colette Connor and Pamela Wolfert serve dishes and drinks outdoors from the window of “The Inn Spot. . . Out!” — their truck parked a stone’s throw from the water’s edge.

The weekly gathering, now in its fourth season, is hosted in conjunction with Adventure Paddleboards, which provides live music and offers kayaks and paddleboards at $25 per hour or $40 per person for the evening. There’s also a paddleboard yoga class that starts at 6:30 p.m. for $35 and requires prebooking at adventurepaddleboards.com.

From the truck, expect a menu of crepes, lobster salad, sausages, fish cakes, tacos and pulled pork for $10 to $15. And there’s a full bar.

The Inn Spot on the Bay is at 32 Lighthouse Rd. in Hampton Bays and the truck will be serving from approximately 5 to 9 p.m.
