In this week's Cheap Eats column, Newsday's Joan Reminick says "buongiorno" to the house-made bread, personal-size pizzas, gnocchi and other Italian fare at Pasquale's Pizza & Pasta Cafe in Bellmore, giving the cafe two stars.
Up in Cold Spring Harbor, Peter M. Gianotti gives one-and-a-half stars to Harbor Mist, touting the shrimp risotto enlivened with chorizo, orecchiette tossed with broccoli rabe and sweet and spicy sausage, and the crab cake, spurred by chipotle-spiked aioli and citrus-marinated cucumber.
