Thyme in Roslyn: Dinner tonight

On this upside-down day, this horrible Halloween: a treat. Thyme in Roslyn is serving under the clock tower.
At dinner, you can enjoy a juicy, wood-fired, double-cut pork chop, finished with a cider-grain mustard vinaigrette, served with spiced-apple, cranberry and apricot tart. Or the braised beef short ribs, paired with a crisp, polenta cake. The chef make a satisfying split-pea soup, too.
And, for dessert, either a hot chocolate, flanked by warm cookies; or a strawberry shortcake in parfait form will do very well. It just depends on your mood.
