'Top Chef’s' Tom Colicchio will be on hand on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. when Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington holds a fundraiser for Island Harvest (a Long Island food bank) with a screening of the film “A Place at the Table.” The documentary examines childhood hunger in America and features insights from Colicchio, a food activist, as well as from such other notables as actor Jeff Bridges and nutritionist Marion Nestle.

Colicchio, who is also executive chef of the four-star Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, will take part in a post-movie panel discussion that includes congressman Steve Israel, Island Harvest president Randi Shubin Dresner and CBS Radio personality Mike Xirinachs. Assemb. Charles Lavine will moderate.

Film tickets are $25; VIP tickets, at $50 a person, include a 6:30 p.m. preshow reception with panel members, food, wine and preferred seating.
