The fourth season of Top Chef Masters premiers tonight on Bravo at 10 p.m. Once again, a dozen chefs will compete for the title and $100,000 to be given to the charity of their choice. Curtis Stone, fresh from last week’s finale of Bravo’s “Around the World in 80 Plates” is back as host, and returning critics James Oseland and Ruth Reichl are joined by food and travel journalist, Krista Simmons, and features editor of Gilt Taste, Francis Lam.

This year the G.E. Monogram-stuffed Top Chef kitchen is located at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas (the hotel whose bizarre operatic TV commercials, set to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” were unavoidable a few months ago).

The 12 chefs are a slimmed-down Art Smith (LYFE Kitchen and Southern Art Restaurants and former “Oprah’s chef”), Kerry Heffernan (ex 11 Madison Park and South Gate, NYC), Chris Cosentino (Incanto Restaurant, San Francisco), Clark Frasier and Mark Gaier (who look like brothers but are lovers and partners at Arrows, Maine), Lorena Garcia (Lorena Garcia Cocina Restaurant, Miami), Debbie Gold (The American Restaurant, Kansas City), Thierry Rautureau (Rover’s and Luc, Seattle), Missy Robbins (A Voce Madison & A Voce Columbus, NYC), Sue Torres (Sueños, NYC), Takashi Yagihashi (Takashi Restaurant and Slurping Turtle, Chicago) and Patricia Yeo (Om Restaurant & Lounge/ Moksa Pan Asian Izakaya, Cambridge, Mass.).
