Topping Rose House, Tom Colicchio’s luxurious Bridgehampton restaurant-inn, is holding a farmers market on Saturday Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in its restored barn.

This time of year, actual farm pickings are slim, but lots of artisanal East End purveyors will be on site purveying their artisanal wares.

From the North Fork: cHarissa Moroccan condiment, preserves from Taste of the North Fork, North Fork Chocolate Co., Browder's Birds chicken and eggs (Southold), Long Island Mushrooms, Lieb Cellars (Mattituck) and Borghese Vineyard (Cutchogue),

From the Hamptons: Cavaniola’s Cheese Shop (Sag Harbor), Amagansett Sea Salt, Plain-T Ice Tea (Southampton), Stoked Granola (Montauk), Lorna’s Nuts and Goodies (East Hampton), Arlotta Food Studio Olive Oils (Southampton).

The kitchen at Topping Rose House will also be selling snacks.

Care to make a day of it? Topping Rose House serves breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m., brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Or make a day and night of it: Dinner is served from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.

On Saturday Jan. 18, Colicchio himself will be cooking a special dinner, served in the barn. Each course will feature game (wood pigeon, partridge, duck, venison) and will be paired with wines from Mattituck’s Shinn Estate Vineyards. Dinner is $195. For more information, go to toppingrosehouse.com.

The Saturday market is the first in what the inn hopes will be a monthly event. The next market day is Feb. 15.

Topping Rose House is at One Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke., Bridgehampton, 631-537-0870.
