Ubaldo's
Ubaldo's has graced Farmingdale's Main Street for 32 years, and its well-focused menu is full of crowd-pleasers such as baked clams, fried mozzarella, angel hair pasta with seafood, and chicken Francese. But there are also a couple of wild cards: mussels in red sauce with beans, bucatini (fat spaghetti with a hole running through each strand) all'Amatriciana, and, on occasion, whole roasted branzino.
Both the lounge in front and the dining room in back are comfortable, and the wine list features many reasonably priced regional Italian selections.
