Vitae in Huntington hosts Spanish wine dinner
Spanish wines will highlight a dinner at Vitae in Huntington on Aug. 20.
The cost of the Wednesday night wine-pairing dinner is $75 plus tax and tip. Reservations are required. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
Chef Keith Davidson's menu included a Spanish-style seafood salad, matched with the 2012 Protocolo Bianco; roast suckling pig, with the 2009 Sierra Cantabria Crianza; and sirloin steak with the 2012 Teso La Monja Almirez. and Dios Blanco Cream Sherry will accompany a chocolate-sherry chiffon pudding.
Gil Travalin, fine-wine consultant with Martin Scott Wines, will be the guest speaker.
