Wading River: Amarelle cooks, Bedell pours

Amarelle, one of the top Long Island restaurants to open last year, hosts a wine-and-food pairing dinner with Bedell Cellars on Thursday, May 27.
The five-course dinner will start with an amuse from chef Lia Fallon to go with the Cutchogue producer's sparkling wine. Cost: $75. Reservations are required. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Amarelle, which earned a two-and-one-half star rating for its New American cooking, also has started serving lunch Wednesday to Friday, noon to 2:30 p.m.
