Coming to Walt Whitman Shops later this year are three new eateries: P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Brio Tuscan Grille and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar.

P.F. Chang’s, which serves a corporate version of Chinese cuisine, has a branch in Westbury, so it’s already a known quantity to most Long Islanders. Zinburger, a casual full-serve restaurant featuring imaginatively composed burgers with wine pairings, is part of an Arizona-based franchise group. Then, there’s Brio Tuscan Grille, a chain based in Columbus, Ohio, whose motto — “Italian Food Inspired by Tuscany” — may be called into question by the first item on its dinner menu: “BBQ chicken pizza.”

All three restaurants are currently in the early stages of  construction. If you drive past, you'll see new structures rising on the front of the mall facing Route 110.

Once opening dates become available, we will update you.
