Water Mill: $25 fixed-price at Trata

Economic update: the Water Mill branch of Trata Estiatorio offers a three-course, $25 fixed-price menu Sunday through Thursday.

Trata, where a typical meal is more than $50 a head, has the five-day deal until 6:30 p.m. The choices on the fixed-price menu include salmon on greens, striped bass with a vegetable ragout, and roast chicken with lemon potatoes. The appetizer is the soup of the day; desserts, Greek yogurt and walnut-cinnamon cake.

This menu isn't available at Trata in Roslyn.
