Just color the weekend blue, as in Big Blue. Accordingly, your eating plans must take in the hue. Not that football fans are superstitious, but whenever the opportunity arises, better to be Blue than not. Therefore, some choices.
Expanding the color scheme: Black & Blue, the seafood-and-steak restaurant in Huntington. The oysters Rockefeller are made with Blue Points. Blue cheese stars in the poached pear and shaved apple salads. And, of course, you may order your strip steak, rib eye and filet mignon black-and-blue. Tasty beef negimaki and traditional beef sliders compete with skirt steak and short ribs. And try the Thai-style calamari, shrimp cocktail, crabcake, pan-seared duck breast.
