 The Aug. 24 event will feature more than 30 whiskies and an equal number of craft beers, including barrel-aged beers, cask beers and releases from local breweries. There also will be a class on whiskey and a creating-cocktails session. 
 Tickets are $50 and include the samples of whiskey and beer as well as a commemorative glass. Attendees must be at&nbsp; least 21 years old.
