The Living Room, the three-star restaurant at c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton, hosts a six-course dinner paired with wines tonight.
Cost: $105 plus tax and tip. Reservations required. Dinners start at either 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Chef James Carpenter's menu includes Peconic Pride oysters; golden beet carpaccio with salmon and scallop seviche; grilled rib-eye steak; Vasterbrotten cheese; and strawberry-rhubarb crepes.
The wines include a sparkling rose, the nonvintage Vin du Bugey-Cerdon; the 2010 Ramon Bilbao Albarino; 2006 Tramin Gewürztraminer Nuss; 2007 Arnoux Savigny-les-Beaune; 2004 Chateau Berliquet; and 2006 Twomey Merlot.
