In the environs of Garden City Park, the answer to “Where do you want to eat?” may soon be “Your Mother's House.” That is, if all goes according to plan within the next week or so, when Your Mother's House Kitchen & Bar is set to debut in the former Charlie Brown's Steakhouse space.

Co-owner Niko Hatzigianakis is also a partner at Manhattan's Tick Tock Diner and Cooper’s Tavern. The new restaurant's executive chef/co-owner, Niko Pilalis cooked at both Cooper's Tavern and the Garden City Hotel. Some dishes from his menu include lobster mac & cheese ($14.99), grilled pork chops ($11.99) and a croque monsieur sandwich on pretzel bread ($8.99). Burgers, pizzas and salads, are also well-represented.

Sports fans take note: The restaurant boasts what Hatzigianakis says is one of the East Coast's largest projection-screen high-definition TVs, measuring an impressive 240 inches.

Your Mother's House Kitchen & Bar is at 2349 Jericho Tpke., Garden City Park, 516-493-9030.
