For those who have taken on the enormous task of caring for a sick loved one, Nassau County offers a newly revised book that may make their job and lives a little easier.
Now in its eighth edition, "Continuum of Care for Older Persons in Nassau County" crams a lot of information into its 150 pages. There is advice on choosing long-term- care options and listings of organizations and companies where help and assistance is available. And the contact information for federal, state and local government agencies may help reduce the frustrations of finding where to turn for entitlements and benefits.
